Cancellation and refunds
Last updated 5 August 2026
We would rather sort out a plan that is not working for you than keep money from someone who is not using it. This page says exactly what that means in practice.
The seven-day window
If you bought a plan within the last seven days and it is not right for you, write to us and we will refund it in full. You do not have to explain why.
The one thing we ask: if you have already had a descriptive answer marked by an evaluator, that work has been done by a person and we cannot undo it. In that case we refund everything except the value of the evaluations used.
After seven days
We look at it case by case, and we are not difficult about it. If something went wrong on our side — the platform was down, content you paid for was not there, an evaluator did not get to your paper — tell us and we will make it right, whether that is a refund, an extension, or fixing the thing itself.
If you simply stopped studying, we will usually offer to extend or pause your access rather than refund it, because the material is still there whenever you come back.
Instalment plans
You can stop an instalment plan at any time and no further payments will be taken. Instalments already collected follow the same rules above.
If an instalment fails, we do not cut you off immediately — there is a grace period and we will email you before anything changes.
How to ask
Email hello@regulatoryacademy.in from the address on your account, and tell us which plan and roughly when you bought it. If you have the payment id from your confirmation email, include it — it makes this much faster.
How long it takes
- We reply within 2 working days.
- Once approved, we start the refund the same day through Razorpay.
- The money reaches your card or account in 5–7 working daysafter that. That leg is your bank’s timing, not ours, and we cannot speed it up.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot send them anywhere else.
What happens to your account
When a refund is processed, the plan it paid for is switched off. Your data stays — your mistake notebook, your topic heatmap, your test history are all still there if you come back later.
Free things stay free
The daily MCQs, the past papers and one free adaptive session are open to everyone without paying, and every course has at least one chapter you can read in full. See what is in each plan before you buy anything.
